This is THE workbook I recommend to any family embarking on their adoption or foster care journey! Having been in the adoption world and active in our church’s adoption ministry for several years, I frequently field questions from prospective adoptive families. While I LOVE sharing our story and answering questions, there is no substitute for couples doing the hard work of evaluating their own hearts, homes, and dreams together. This book walks families through just that! With an introduction to foster care, domestic adoption, international adoption, and embryo adoption, this is a fantastic resource for families feeling lost or overwhelmed about where to start. And with questions that dig into the hard stuff around adoption and foster care as well, this workbook is also a great tool for families preparing for the home study and beyond. Christa’s passion for educating families and her knowledge about the adoption and foster care world have come together to fill a much needed void for prospective (and newly-started) adoptive families.
